No, no, no, … I haven’t been listening to Tove again. Bear with me …
I have fine, 40 year old, post two kids HAIR. It has been a real trial and error trying to figure out a more natural and non-toxic way to wash it! But I think I might be on to something now.
Obviously, just like skin, hair types vary dramatically between people so I really don’t expect this to work magic for you unless you have similar locks on your head … but maybe!
So here’s the scoop:
Shampoo – try to only do it once every 3 days +/-. Make sure if you have long hair the knots are out before you suds up!
Conditioner – after shampoo … duh. Fine to use liberally!
About twice a week for a little scalp love to keep those tresses growing strong:
Rub a pea-ish sized amount of coconut oil in the palm of your hand. Then squirt in a couple squirts of Mountain Rose hair oil then flip your hair over and massage your scalp silly. Or … convince someone else to do it to you … heaven mmmm. Then just leave it there. Go for a run, do some yoga, chase your kids for a few hours and when you are done, wash out as above.

Hope it works for you too!
As an FYI … in the case it doesn’t and you want to search out your own earth friendly products … consider this app!! It lets you search labels and bar codes in their data base to see how “good” or “bad” the product you use or want to buy is. It is easy and actually pretty fun. And what a better way to get to think dirty in the grocery store!
